The Climate

Myanmar has three seasons, being classified as tropical. The summer season starts from mid-February to mid-May, the rainy season starts from mid-May to mid-October and the winter season starts from mid-October to mid-February.

Lower Myanmar enjoy tropical season whereas upper Myanmar, especially the Chin, Kachin, Mon and Shan State remain cold all year.
